Situated at Tsam Chuk Wan, the monument with 3 cenotaphs was completed and open to the public in 1989. The main cenotaph is 10 m high with inscriptions detailing the resistance against Japanese soldiers put up by Sai Kung residents during World War II. The monument stands on a wonderful vantage point overlooking the scenic and tranquil waters of Sai Kung Bay.
