Haiphong Road Substation is CLP's first beautified substation. The mural incorporates several well-known landmarks, including the Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Terminus Clock Tower, Tung Choi Street (Goldfish Market) and Sneaker Street. Neon signs further evoke the distinctive streetscape of Nathan Road, a thoroughfare that connects the district's vibrant neighbourhoods.
Through its blend of local landmarks and familiar street scenes, the mural showcases the unique characteristics and urban culture of Yau Tsim Mong. It also reflects CLP's long-standing connection and support for the development of this lively district over the years.
