Located at 3/F, 7 Mallory Street, Wan Chai, the Museum of Hong Kong Literature stands as a new landmark, combining literary collections, education, exhibitions, and literary salons. It features permanent exhibition halls, the children's story room, and the Hong Kong literature reading room. Utilizing modern digital technology, it introduces Hong Kong literary works to both the public and visitors, narrating the century-old story of Hong Kong literature and inspiring young locals to engage in literary reading and creation.

7 Mallory Street, the site of the Museum of Hong Kong Literature, was rated Grade 2 historic building in 2009. Originally known as the Green House, this typical four-story Cantonese tenement was built in the 1920s. The revitalized building preserves its original architectural features, such as the red brick walls, Chinese-style pitched roof, wooden staircases, and French windows. The exterior walls have been restored to their early 20th-century black-and-white colour scheme, reviving its historical appearance. At the Museum of Hong Kong Literature, visitors can explore the rich tapestry of Hong Kong's literary heritage. Through modern interdisciplinary arts, the museum breathes new life and vitality into this historic building, offering a deeper, more vibrant literary experience for all who visit.
