1. Child-Giving Rocks in Cha Kwo Ling
Visit Cha Kwo Ling for a trip back through time to the Hong Kong of long ago. The traditional values of this rural community can be reflected by the legendary "Child-giving-Rocks" near the Tin Hau Temple, which are believed to bless those who pray to them with sons.
Transport: Take Kwun Tong MTR station exit A1 and then catch green minibus Travel Route No. 23B at Yan Oi Court. Or take a taxi from Yau Tong MTR station.
2. Cha Kwo Ling Tin Hau Temple
The Cha Kwo Ling Tin Hau Temple was originally built by the Qing Government. During the Tin Hau Festival, on the 23rd day of the third month of the Lunar Calendar, villagers will organize traditional "Fa Pau', procession and Chinese Opera performances to show their dedication to the goddess.

3. Lei Yue Mun Seafood Bazaar
Lei Yue Mun is situated in the southeastern part of Kwun Tong. It used to be an old fishing village along the seashore. Currently the village still maintains its simple folk ethos, and fragmentary scenes of the old Hong Kong can be seen here. Lei Yue Mun is famous for its seafood, and restaurants there, which have an open-air flavour, offer quality and delicious dishes with numerous choices at reasonable prices. While visiting Lei Yue Mun, visitors will not forget to buy some Chinese cakes and candies as souvenirs. The most popular one is the "amber walnut" (honey walnut). There are several shops selling such a kind of snack, which are not commonly found in Hong Kong now. Walking along the highland by the shore, you can see a Tin Hau Temple. According to the information engraved on the stone epigraph, the temple was built by a pirate in the Qing Dynasty more than 200 years ago. Not far away is an old lighthouse, which all along shoulders the important responsibility of directing vessels sailing into and out of the eastern strait of the Victoria Harbour one following the other. Here you may take-in the whole attractive scenery of the Lei Yue Mun embayment, and with the large and small vessels sailing in and out, they have formed a wonderful picture.

4. Lei Yue Mun Tin Hau Temple
A 15 minutes casual walk around the headland of Lei Yue Mun reveals a Tin Hau Temple. The temple was built some 200 years ago by a notorious Qing Dynasty pirate to worship Tin Hau, the Goddess of the Sea. Popularity of the Tin Hau in Hong Kong bears witness to its roots as a fishing community.

5. Lei Yue Mun Blessing Tree
The gigantic banyan tree beside the Lei Yue Mun Rest garden has been regarded as gods and adored by villagers, who burn joss sticks and pray for blessing.

6. Lei Yue Mun Old Batteries
In front of the Lei Yue Mun Tin Hau Temple, two antique batteries are built under enormous stones with impressive inscriptions.

7. Leisure Spots in the Kwun Tong Coastal Business Area
The major areas are very near to the Kwun Tong MTR station, including Hoi Yuen Road, Shing Yip Street, Hing Yip Street, How Ming Street, Hung To Road etc. There are modern shopping centers selling all kinds of goods and products, such as fashion, home appliances, stationery etc. There are also many Western style outdoor cafeterias for public to take a rest after shopping.

8. apm
Millennium City Phase 5, which is called apm, comprises of commercial offices as well as a shopping mall. apm is made up of two words, am and pm, which means providing a place of shopping for young generation and young in heart to play from day to night. It is opened in Mid-March 2005. It is facilitated with exit leading to Kwun Tong MTR station. There is also a modernized footbridge linking Kwun Tong Road and Yue Man Square.

9. Large Recreation Grounds in Kwun Tong Town Centre Area
There are a number of recreation grounds in Kwun Tong town centre area. The most popular ones include Yuet Wah Street Playground, Elegance Garden and Hong Ning Road Recreation Ground. Yuet Wah Street Playground is near to Kwun Tong MTR station while Elegance Garden is located at Ngau Tau Kok Road next to Ngau Tau Kok MTR station. Hong Ning Road Recreation Ground consists of 2 phases, phase 1 is provided with children playground, tennis court, football court etc, and phase 2 is a traditional Chinese style garden.

10. Amoy Plaza
Amoy Plaza is a large-scale shopping centre in Ngau Tau Kok area. The Plaza is divided into six theme zones namely Discovery Avenue, Chat Point, Food Square, Fashion Avenue, Beauty Corner and Entertainment Tower. Amoy Plaza is 5-minute-walk from Kowloon Bay MTR station, and is easily accessible by buses and public light buses.

11. Jordan Valley Swimming Pool
Situated in Choi Ha Road, Jordan Valley Swimming Pool provides various facilities including Training pool, Fun pool and Leisure pool. There are slides and buoys of shapes of funny animals in the Fun Pool and Leisure Pool, which is definitely a good place to go in hot summer days. It takes a 10-minute walk from Kowloon Bay MTR station or 3-minute walk along Jordan Valley North Road after getting off from a bus or public light bus at Amoy Garden.

12. Telford Plaza
Telford Plaza is a major entertainment and shopping location in the Kowloon East. There are more than 200 shops in the large shopping mall selling fashion, gold and jewels, skin care and cosmetic products, new models of domestic appliances and telecommunication products and Chinese and Western food. There you can find many renowned outlets selling multifarious commodities.

13. Ngau Tau Kok Cooked Food Street
Ngau Tau Kok Cooked Food Street is located at the ground floor of Block 9, Lower Ngau Tau Kok Estate. The majority of shops are running cooked food business including congee shops, local restaurants, local noodle stalls, cooked food stalls, Chiu Chow noodles, Taiwan/Vietnam cuisines, etc. The foods provided by these small-scale businesses are with cheap prices and local tastes and characteristics.

14. The Hong Kong Public Records Building
The Hong Kong Public Records Building opened in 1997 as the first purpose-built archival facility in Hong Kong. It is situated at No.13, Tsui Ping Road, Kwun Tong. The welcoming public areas of the building include a large working conference room, an exhibition hall and a search room equipped with computers.

15. Kwun Tong Swimming Pool
Kwun Tong Swimming Pool of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department is situated at No.10, Kai Lim Road, Kwun Tong. The facilities of the swimming pool include a main pool, a secondary pool, teaching pools (3 nos.), a diving pool, a fun pool, leisure pool (2 nos.). Besides, the swimming pool has a 800-seat spectator stand and an electronic scoreboard.

16. The Wilson Trail Stage 3
The Wilson Trail is for experienced hikers. It starts at Stanley and terminates at Nam Chung at the northern New Territories. Crossing the territory in north-south direction, the Wilson Trail spans 78km and is divided into 10 sections. The total time taken to complete the whole trail is about 27 hours. Compared with others trails, the Wilson Trail is ideal for more experienced hikers due to its rugged relief. Wilson Trail Stage 3 starts from Yau Tong ascend and go around Devil's Hill and via Ma Yau Tong to Tseng Lan Shue Village. The length of this stage is 9.3km. It needs 4 hours to finish the walking and is quite difficult to walk.

17. Lam Tin Park
Lam Tin Park measures approximately 5.6ha (gross) in size. It goes into service in 1991. The Park is popular place for local residents to go for morning walks and exercise (such as tai-chi). The major facilities provided include a soccer pitch, an observation point, a pavilion, a picnic area and a children's play area.
